| My Family and me Well, you clicked on it so here goes. I was born in Murray, Kentucky, raised in Aurora Kentucky by the greatest parents a kid could ask for, Joe and Hazel Edwards who live in Benton, KY now. I went to Aurora Elementary back in the stone age until it closed, then to Jonathan Elementary from the 3rd to 6th grade. Then Jr. High I went to South Marshall, and on to Marshall County High in Draffenville Kentucky, where I ended up dropping out (one of the biggest mistakes of my life). Well, I worked here and there, mainly in construction, alot with my uncle glen who was always like a second father to me. I eventually tried to join the Air Force after receiving my GED but they said that a GED was nothing and that I had to have some college. Well, I joined the Army National Guard as a Military Policeman in 1981, after basic training I went to college and acquired enough credits to join the Air Force in July 1984 (recruiters love people like me). After several years in the Air Force I decided to start flying lessons in 1989 and soloed in England. I also took some college courses at night. August 19th,1988, Emily and I got married in Oxford England. We then moved to Wichita Falls, TX were I became a Dental Assistant Instructor. While there I received my AAS Degree in Dental Assisting, an AAS degree in Instructor methodology and Military Science, and an AAS degree in business and finally my Bachelor of Science in Occupational education degree, along with my Teaching certificate from the Association of Southern Colleges. I also finished my Private pilots certification, and went on to finish my Instrument, Commercial and Flight Instructor Certification and started flight instructing part time. Hey as long as I was getting paid to have fun. Emily got out of the Air Force in 1996 to go to school, and that same year we moved to Luke AFB in Phoenix, AZ. I was only there for six months and re-trained into Dental Laboratory (I make teeth), after six months of re-training, in July of 1997 we moved here to Colorado Springs, CO where I finished my AAS degree in Dental Laboratory Technology and Emily finished Her AAS in Dental Hygiene. I havn't mentioned this yet but with 5 college degrees and 4 certifications in aviation and a teaching certificate, I have yet made up for the day I quit high school, (I know Mom, you told me so), so kids, stay in school. In August we will be moving to Minot North Dakota (freezins the reason) and I will finish my 20 there. Who knows where we will retire, naturally I would love to retire in Kentucky and of course Emily would love to retire in New York. It's only natural to wanna go home I guess.
