These pics are from the 24th of June 01
About 1 1/2 hours from Colorado Springs to the trailhead, very popular with the locals.

Trae Thomas tripoding in his 85 4runner, well built and unstoppable on the trail
Trae is locked up front and rear and has Super Swampers 33 x 12.50. This truck really goes well in the dirt and on rocks!
My 91 4runner on it's virgin flight after lift and Tires
This is Hackett Rock, one of the more difficult obstacles on the trail, but me and Brad didn't have much trouble and Trae walked up it in his toy.
Brad and his 96 Toyota Tacoma, Nice Truck
Brad on Hackett, this truck does exceptional, expecially with no locker up front.
Mogul hills, without the snow!
This is one of the many mogul hills on the trail, I had to back up and hit it at a different angle to make it up.
Trae on the Moguls
Pretty Flexy truck, there's just something about seeing a picture like this that brings a tear to my eye, sniff!
Brad on some different moguls
This is the hard side, there are many obstacles with bypasses if you need them, we never do (a little bragging). Try the hard stuff a couple of times and if you can't do it, get out of the way (go Bypass). We hate to see someone tie up the trail for an hour because of selfish pride, right guys?
Again, Moguls
It's hard for an amatuer photographer like myself to capture the depth of these moguls, but they will swallow up a truck and tend to make for a bumpy ride.
